Rishi brings a wealth of experience and expertise in the media, events, and expos industries. With over two decades of professional knowledge, he has played a pivotal role in shaping the success and growth of our organisation. With a great understanding of the power of media and events, he has been instrumental in creating innovative platforms that connect enthusiasts, businesses, and organisations from various niche sectors.
In the media sector, Rishi has a proven track record of successfully launching and managing various publications, both in print and digital formats. They have a comprehensive understanding of content creation, editorial strategy, and audience engagement. Leveraging their experience, they have curated captivating content that resonates with readers. In the events and expos domain, he has orchestrated numerous high-profile events, exhibitions, and conferences. He has a keen eye for detail and an exceptional ability to conceptualise and execute memorable experiences. Gurjender Singh Virdi
Science Graduate, PG Diploma in Computer Applications and an Executive MBA Diploma holder, GS Virdi brings on board ‘1Connect’ his rich experience, knowledge and engagement with communities from various sectors including Consumer Technology, Photography & Digital Imaging, Automotive, Real Estate, Retailing & Franchising, Lifestyle and he will be managing the niche communities at ‘1Connect Events & Publishing’.Virdi is an acclaimed Magazine critique for several renowned publications nationally and has reviewed over 350 magazine titles. Apart from this, he has conceptualised, launched, revived and headed a number of Consumer and B2B magazines, Webzines, Bookzines, Pocket Guides and custom publications in English & Hindi in different genres in various capacities as Founder Editor, Executive Editor, Managing Editor, Editorial Consultant in the past three decades. Besides, he is associated with several media houses in country for his content services on regular basis.
To cope up with the digital race, Virdi also has expertise in digital space as he is regularly active on various social media platforms and blogs to keep engaging his readers & followers by creating the relevant & captivating content. He is also the founder of Smart Citizen project that was initiated in lines with Smart City vision. His initiative is to create Smart Citizens by educating and helping consumer for Smart Shopping and Lifestyle through a unique Hindi Webzine.
Apart from the Editorial, Virdi brings in a lot of experience where he has worked with publishing houses on Brand Positioning, Marketing, Sales, Communication and P&L at different stages of his growth path. A Visionary with a perfect blend of editorial and business of media, with innate ability to create concepts, he is regarded for having an eye for the finest details in the fields of journalism, publishing and management.
Visual Communication is what Virdi started as hobby and then honed as professional skill upto the extent that he served for many years as Assistant Professor for ‘Visual Arts & Mass Communication’ for the Undergraduate and the Post Graduate Degree programmes in the State University in Haryana
